2. Register to vote and support candidates who support alternatives to the death penalty.

3. Write your state representatives the Governor and members of Congress asking them to replace the death penalty
    
with alternative sentences which are protective of society.

4. Ask your religious leaders to address the issue from the pulpit or to hold a discussion on the subject at your place
    
of worship.

5. Invite a knowledgeable speaker to address your favorite groups. Contact the TCADP for speakers.

6. Join a group committed to alternatives to the death penalty, for example, Pax Christi, TCADP, NCADP, CUADP,
    
Amnesty International.

7. Write a death row prisoner. Contact the TCADP or Lamp of Hope for Information.

8. Provide financial help to organizations working against the death penalty.
